Well, I’ve had some luck finding people with the same sort of HP printer problems as I’ve experienced. Glad to see I’m not the only one losing time and energy attempting to do something as simple as installing a printer.

It just goes to show what I was saying earlier: HP isn’t a company I’d like to deal with on an ongoing basis.

Honestly, if they made any other items in the world with this degree of difficulty to get them working, they’d be out of business in three minutes flat. What is it with the computer industry churning out stuff that becomes incredibly difficult to use?

Family Values Under Threat!!!

Apparently if you help a couple who can’t have kids, or are a lesbian couple or — presumably — anyone else who has a family where there is not One Man, One Woman and one if not more children, you are threatening “Family Values”.

I’d like to ask for a definition of family values please. Because if family values includes One Man, One Woman and children in a situation where they are so poor that they can barely feed themselves, does this fall under “maintaining family values”? How about where the kids are being abused — either verbally, physically or even both — is this maintaining “Family Values”? What about if one of the parents dies? Do the remaining parent and kids suddenly get stamped with “Not Maintaining Family Values”? How about if a parent runs off with someone else? Divorce? Single parents? Orphans?

I don’t get it. But then, I’m not the brightest bulb in the room.

RIAA sues someone else. Surprise, surprise. Recording Industry Association of America? I think not: Reprehensible Idiotic Anal Arseholes I would suggest. But wait… what’s that sound?!

Wibbly wobbly… timey-wimey!

…we find ourselves in a strange future… where we find an RIAA approved CD case.

According to this report, the NHS is considering reducing the subsidy it pays drug companies for their drugs.

According to the author, a better way to reduce expenditure would be to “dangle a carrot” rather than threatening a big stick.

I say Fuck Them; drug companies make billions. So bloody what if someone turns around and says “we’re not paying these prices anymore”? What are they going to do, go somewhere else? Refuse to supply?

Has the world gone completely freaking bonkers and didn’t invite me along to the party? What sick arsehole came up with this idea?!

Riddle me this: Why won’t the Windows XP search find and display a file that exists on the system?

Try searching for *.pst and you might come across the same issue that I did.

For those out there that don’t know what a “Pst” file is – and are perhaps wondering if it’s something to do with drinking – I shall explain: it’s a file which is used to store all the email from Outlook.
